Meditations for Health and Balance

 

Meditation for Balancing the Chakras:

Instructions:

  1. Perform an entrance ritual or other method of creating a "sacred space" in the area where you are doing these meditations.  You can use the following ritual, or create your own:
    1. Find a quiet time, when you will not be disturbed.
    2. Wash your hands, and drink a glass of water.
    3. Sit in a straight backed chair.  Keep both feet on the floor.
    4. Recite the following adoration:

      Holy art thou, Lord of the Universe !
      Holy art thou, Whom Nature hath not formed !
      Holy art thou, the Vast and the Mighty One !
      Lord of the Light and of the Darkness !

  2. Then for each one of the following seven meditations:
    1. Click on the appropriate link below to bring up the meditation.
    2. Maximize the window, if desired.
    3. Simply look at the Image in a receptive state of mind.
    4. Listen to the note (s) being played, and internally sound the note.
    5. After looking/listening for approximately 2 minutes, close your eyes and imagine yourself in the center of an infinite, vibrating sea of the color shown.
    6. Intone the note being played out loud using the syllables IAO (pronounced EE-AH-OH) three times with a full breath after each intonation.
    7. Close the window, and proceed to the next meditation.
    8. Length of time spent on this entire meditation (all seven keys) should not exceed 15 minutes.

  3. Perform each of the following seven meditations in the order shown according to the above instructions.
    1. K21:    The World
    2. K19:    The Sun
    3. K16:    The Tower
    4. K10:    The Wheel of Fortune
    5. K3:     The Empress
    6. K2:     The High Priestess
    7. K1:     The Magician
