Search For KnowledgeNJ writes: We begin the search for knowledge starting right where we are.... in ignorance. Something catches my fancy, so I pursue it, thinking it will give me what I want. When I get it, I discover that it was NOT the thing. So I keep searching for "things" which are not "The Thing" until I realize that the "Thing" I'm looking for is actually the "NO Thing". Then I search for the "No Thing" by creating new scaffolding (forms) which are able to help me develop the capacity for another level of realization. In other words, we search for knowledge in "forms", in 'structures" and it "disciplines" which are all manifestations of "limitation" or the Saturn principle, until we realize that the essence we seek is not form, but that which is within, yet above it. We do this by embracing a form, until we dissolve it, and assimilate what it has to teach us and use that knowledge to create a new form which is able to take us to the next step in understanding. Then when the form is outworn, it dissolves, which allows us to reap (see scythe in K13) the wisdom and understanding (see man and woman's heads on ground in K13) . Like Albritch Durer's 16th century engraving showing the Knight between Death
and The Devil we tread the middle path for knowledge (K14) between Death of Form
(K13) and Birth of Form (K15) seeking the Love (K3) and the Face of the Beloved
behind them both. "Looking for love in all the wrong places, I search. Not until "I" find "it", but until "IT" finds "me". one must start with ego, in order to transcend it JC |
