Now you all might conclude after reading this, that I have too much time on my hands, but I thought I would try to find
out if some of the physical laws that mankind has used to master much of his environment, are
in actuality compounds or combinations of a more fundamental set of archetypal principles (in my case the Principles/Laws/Outcomes
symbolized by the 22 Hebrew letters and the 22 Tarot Keys)
Let's look at 2 Physical Laws: Bolye's Law, and Bernoulli's Law.
First let's look at Boyle's Law:
Boyle's Law describes the behavior of a Gas at a given volume and temperature, and this "law" is described by the formula thus:
PV = KT
Where P is the pressure, V is the volume of the gas, K is a constant, and T is the temperature.
This Law is fundamental in the functioning of many, many of the tools that mankind has engineered and which have
enabled him to master his environment. The internal combustion engine, for example, is an example of
this law in the operation with the expanding combustion gasses in the cylinder, etc... And the internal combustion engine, along
with the invention of the aerodynamic wing (Bernoulli's Law) have allowed man to
apparently overcome the law of gravity, and enjoy a measure of freedom and mobility never
seen before.
Thus this effort will be an attempt to show how Mankind does in fact use Law against laws, and create tools
(transmute raw material of nature into worthy implements of his will, and of HIS WILL), and thus show the validity
of the following statements from my last email:
"Nothing escapes the Principle of Cause and Effect, but there are
many planes of Causation, and one may use the laws of the higher to overcome
the laws of the lower" - The Kybalion.
AND
"The half-wise, recognizing the comparative unreality of the
Universe, imagine that they may defy its Laws - such are vain and presumptuous
fools, and they are broken against the rocks and are torn asunder by the elements by
reason of their folly. The truly wise, knowing the nature of the Universe, use Law against laws; the higher against the
lower; and by the art of Alchemy transmute that which is undesirable into that which is
worthy, and thus triumph." - The Kybalion
Let's look at each of these terms (of PV=KT) and try to understand them from a more archetypal perspective. I have
placed in parenthesis a shorthand notation linking the concept to the appropriate Tarot Key.
However, this shorthand notation is in no way necessary to understand the fundamental principles which I will also describe.
P = Pressure. A force exerted by the molecules of a gas upon a constraining container. With Pressure, we thus have the
concepts of Force (Mars, K16), and of a restriction of that Force within a limiting enclosure
(Saturn, K21).
V = Volume. Volume describes the expanse of space within which the gas resides. Therefore with Volume, we have the
concept of an Expanse (Jupiter, K10), and of occupying a space. Of course space itself, since it
is not limitless is a part of that limiting enclosure called Space-Time, and thus also
partakes of the Saturn Principle, that being the boundaries of space-time (Saturn K21).
"=" The Equals sign. This formula says that the energy on both sides of
the equation is "balanced" such that PV on one side of the equation is
equal to KT on the other side. Thus we have the concept of dynamic equilibrium (Libra, K11). This
concept of a "self correcting dynamic balance" is the fundamental concept behind Justice, Karma, and the like.
T = The Temperature which represents the heat energy of the system. Temperature is a measure of the physical
activity of the molecules in the box. It is a measure of how fast they are moving around. This property of
energy or Fire is symbolized in several ways but is basically related to the overall energy level of the system. How excited it is. This is
symbolized by the "Exciting Intelligence" or Uranus, K0, The Fool.
K = A constant representing the amount (mass) of gas in the system which is assumed constant since we are dealing with
a closed system. However in general, we can see that if the amount of gas is increased, then the
overall amount of energy of the system would increase. Mass is related to the fundamental substance of the universe, also called the
"Cosmic Mind Stuff", symbolized by the Moon, and Tarot Key 2.
So what this equation (PV=KT) is saying is:
The Force (K16) in the Container (K21) times the Volume (K10) is dynamically balanced (K11) (proportional to) the
amount of energy of the system which is proportional to the level of excitement (K0) of a given
mass (K2) of gas.
This concept of a energized excited substance "dancing" within an
enclosure is symbolized by Tarot Key 21 "The World" and shows the dancer in the
dance of life. This key also symbolizes "Cosmic Consciousness". This is
saying that the highest level of consciousness achievable by man is related to being a conscious co-creator with God, here in
the World. The Final Destination is not some eternal rest somewhere off in a far away
"heaven". The final destination is to bring "heaven" to Earth. Thus ,we do not
leave the World. Instead, we REDEEM it!
Also, the concept of taking a force of energy and enclosing it within a specific "field" or enclosure is also symbolized by
Tarot Key 7. And
shows the principle of channeling energy into a specific "vehicle" in order
to do something specific with it. This key shows the relationship between the personality and the Self. The personality is a specific
enclosure or vehicle for the Self/God to express through.
What this is saying is that this physical law which man has used to master his environment is none other than a
specialized instance of the Universal Principle of God's Will expressing through a vehicle. As above, so below.
We are God's vehicles doing God's Will here on Earth. So too, we do the same thing on a more physical level by taking energy and
enclosing it within a vehicle in order to accomplish something specific in accordance
with our will, or wants. (and ultimately all desire/will comes from God) We think it's
us (a separate self) doing it, but in actuality we are not the doer; we are the do-ee.
Now let's take a quick look at Bernoulli's law:
L = (.5) x p x V**2 x S x Cl
Where L is the lift generated by a wing, p is the air density, V**2 is the velocity of the air squared, S is the area of the
wing, and Cl is the lift coefficient.
Rearranging terms and simplifying, we basically come up with:
PV is proportional to Velocity-Squared proportional to Energy.
So once again we have the concept of an enclosed force (either in potential or in motion) being dynamically balanced
by an amount of energy. Or to say that the energy of the system is constant.
Thus, we can fly (overcome gravity) by concentrating (Mercury, K1) an amount of energy in order to build it up,
and then release that energy in a controlled fashion within a new field or vehicle of
expression (K7).
So these physical laws are used by man to express his mental creativity and manifest it physically in the creation of new
vehicles such as: Cars, planes, engines, buildings, shops, rockets, etc.., etc...
So what's the bottom line?
The same means which we use to express ourselves (our wills) on the physical plane, God uses to Live Us. This same
principle (K7) is the means by which the One Life Lives us. There is only One Will. This One Will
expresses through its many myriad vehicles. One of these vehicles calls itself Joe, another Jay, another Mike, another George, etc...
Or put another way, "I am a center of expression for the Primal Will to Good, which eternally creates and sustains the universe".
We are all concentrations of the Life Power (K0) expressing within a particular field of manifestation (K7). What we call
the Universe is actually God concentrating in particular ways through his particular
vehicles.
As the One Will expresses through its vehicle, this vehicle then expresses through vehicles (and created tools) of its
own, which are really not its own , but are in fact just more refined vehicles of the One Will.
So ultimately it is God who is the real doer in the handiwork of man. The only difference is that in most cases, man as a
vehicle for God, is an as yet unfinished product, and so man's works often times miss the mark as he
struggles to grow and evolve under the impetus of the One Will which is the core of all beings.
All creative works, all engineering, all art, is in the final analysis a specialized expression of the One Will acting
through vehicles of its expression.
So guess what? This is why we are here. We are God's hands completing the Great Work on the physical plane which is
the fruit of the Tree of Life, God's pinnacle of creation.
God is completing his masterpiece via us, his tools.
The painter is not yet done with the painting, so it would seem.
