The Evil One
06 Dec 2001 A reported discussion between Hollywood movie producers. "You ever looked at this bin Laden character? He's really beautiful and quite serene looking. I would cast him as Jesus in a New York minute, with no competition, in a Life of Christ film." Never seen a better one. Boy, how Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and his friends would go through the roof if they heard that. But the guy is damn beautiful despite being a terrorist." JN ____________________________ Remember Applegate of the Heaven's Gate cult and the Hale-Bopp comet? He looked real serene too, just before serving cyanide laced Cool-aide to his flock so that they could rendezvous with the "Mother Ship." Looks are deceiving. So what could explain their seemingly warm, serene demeanor? Perhaps it's because they've resolved all inner conflicts and are single minded in their aim? They've established a type of inner harmony within themselves (K6), but objectively it's a caricature of true harmony (K15) because it's not in keeping with reality. Their inner constitution (K4) has become self-referential and so sees the outer world as the great Satan, as infidels, etc... RL ____________________________ RL IMO, you are exactly right. Shrinks say that once a person has decided to commit suicide they suddenly become very serene and untroubled. Danger signals! This attitude of utter certainty could be very convincing to the unwary in Bin Laden's case.. and in any Christ figure. Seeing is subjective, that is, the interpretation thereof. 14 Oct 2001 Went to hear Kevin Ryerson the other night -- (for those who don't know, he's the trance channeller made famous by Shirley MacLaine). He gave a free talk and spoke to us as himself, not in trance. He surprised many of his by how wise he is in his own right. He put an interesting, nonjudgmental light on fear, anger, and jealousy ... all useful and necessary emotions that, when utilized properly, transform into concern, courage, and discipline. He also reported that Saddam Hussein is George Bush Senior's soul mate! And that Osama Bin Laden just might be Shrub's [G.W.B] soul mate! Ryerson is among those who appear to believe that Bin Laden & Company chose this heinous role to play before reincarnating in order to help usher us into the New Consciousness. Comments? In LVX, Lynda ____________________________ Lynda, I can't comment about what choices Bin Landen may of made before incarnation, but looking at the situation from principle, there is much to be said about the role being placed by Osama, as "the evil one". Looking at the sum of the magic square for 15 (K15: The Devil), we see that it sums to 45 and then to 9. The appearance of evil forces us to use our reason (4) and intuition (5) to deal with it, ultimately coming to a realization of unity and service (9). We're all one. We all can be killed. We all can die from anthrax or small pox. We all can starve. We all desire more aliveness. Until we all arrive at the destination, no one's work is done. Of course we are all the "evil one" and the "redeemer" as well. I am George Bush. The mass mind is being shocked into this realization of Unity. What do I know?
