Communication

C.,

Thank you for your frank response. I think we are on to some critical distinctions here, read on ...

I understand what you are saying about the value of sharing experiences. But there are some experiences which just don't translate, and regardless, until they are your experiences, it don't mean squat anyway. <<

I largely agree with you, but the first distinction has to do with communication. Being an able Communicator also means knowing how to translate (or step down), and "communicate" one's realizations in order to be of service. I realize that this is a somewhat advanced skill, not to be taken lightly by novices. Here are some EXAMPLES of able communicators  being able to translate and communicate their Realization to others:

1) A Spiritual Healer, who lays hands upon another, and via induction raises the patient's rate of vibration. In this case it, the healer channels the energy/realization so that it IS the patients own experience.

2) A good Teacher who is able to grasp the abstract principles with such clarity, that he/she is able to make the concepts real and communicable, and thus place them within the grasp of his/her students. This universally involves the use of examples, case studies, parables, and the process of dialectic where the teacher engages the student directly and is so able to give the student the "experience" of the principle via his interaction with the student (also known as the Socratic method). Perhaps the most effective means of communicating a principle is via Ethos, or via the example of the Teacher's own conduct in life.

3) A good Counselor, who is able to establish rapport with the client (via mercy, compassion, empathy) and is thus able to enter into the client's "experience". Having done this critical impedance matching, the counselor is thus able to take in the patient's (often chaotic) imagery, and feed it back to them in an organized manner (acting the Emperor to the client's Empress). This critical "correcting feedback" function thus helps the client fine tune their own receiver to their own Inner Teacher. Thus the realizations (that the client's Inner Teacher wishes to communicate) do become the client's "experience".

You further write: (emphasis mine)
The best I can say is this: act "as if" you got to choose whether things are difficult, scary, etc., and that it is all a manifestation of YOUR subconsciousness. Then, when things appear difficult, scary, etc., ask yourself why YOU would manifest this. "If this were happening in a dream I had last night, what would it mean?" Keep at it honestly and tenaciously and you will get the answers. There's no other way I know of. C.<<

Yes, subconscious is what manifests, but there is more at work then the separate YOU, in this. We all SHARE in the Group Karma of the universe, solar system, planet, nation, state, humanity, family, loved ones, etc.. So, it is also GROUP Karma (patterns of manifestation which are both cause, and effect) which also manifests via subconsciousness.

So if a large asteroid hits the Earth, there's no need to ask why YOU manifested it, for you share the fate of your fellow humanity as well.

And this brings me to the second critical distinction here: Since we SHARE in the GROUP Karma (of humanity, and even of this group's karma) it makes sense for those who are aware of this group karma, to try and help to transmute it, if they are able.
