i appreciated the discussion tonight thoughts regarding the
destructive and creative aspects of the work. my efforts have been
slightly stilted to the destructive side or ascetic side of things
of course for me that has apparently been necessary for some reason and i
would to good to temper that somewhat because i can sense the difficult in it
for me and my relating to others now.

Destruction and Creation are two sides of the SAME coin.
In order to Create, we must destroy.
In order to create a greater awareness in consciousness we must use the "scaffolding" of our
various concepts, teachings, and practices. But once the "structure" has been completed, the
scaffolding is no longer
needed, and so it must come down.
But to build a better scaffolding we must destroy old, less effective scaffoldings. This is where
destruction has its valuable place, to clear away the garbage, and to provide the raw material for
the building of a new and better structure (referred to in the Apocalypse as the "New
Jerusalem").
Where a big error creeps in (I feel) is when a person (who has not yet achieved the perfect awareness of their Christ-hood) believes that
they no longer need any scaffolding at all. If they do this, then they are STUCK,
for they turn their destructive powers against their own vehicle and cripple themselves. Like a builder destroying his
scaffolding before the building is complete.
The other big error is to believe that the mere scaffolding is the THING itself. This is the issue of
"Dogma" that you are so swift to attack
(and rightly so).
If one is to get anywhere with these spiritual pursuits, it is important to
have an accurate picture of how the process of spiritual evolution takes place, otherwise they will have to spend
much time exploring one dead end after
another (much like the Buddha did). Maybe for some people trying out all the
"extremes" is the fastest way.
